“3.0 Summer” (little heart)
120 x 70 x 60 cm
Paweł Wocial & Kamila Tuszyńska
„3.0 Summer” (little heart), a toys sculpture, had premiere at Cannes podczas Salons d’art contemporain art3f in Cannes, France, in 2018.
This is scaled down version of the sculpture „3.0” (large serce), which had premier at NordArt in Germany in 2018. At this exhibition I presented my „Spirit of Ecstasy” (Rolls-Royce sculpture) and „Where Fake was Born (the New Venus of Willendorf)”, also co-created with Kamila Tuszyńska.
Toys are a metaphor of patterns and behavioral models collected in childhood, which properly processed, constitute an adult identity.
Chrom is not only an allegory of the emotional coldness, but above all appears as a substance constituting instinctive everyday behaviors that are often beyond the perception of the individual.
3.0 is as well organic as technological hybrid – it depends on the individual if (s)he become aware of the existence of the product of patterns from childhood, and, therefore, the individual determine the degree of technology interference in the body.
