“3.0” (large heart)
H: 200 x W: 220 x L: 350 cm
Paweł Wocial & Kamila Tuszyńska
Large scale sculpture „3.0” (large serce) had premiere at Nord Art 2018 in Germany. At the same exhibition I presented my second large sculpture „Spirit of Ecstasy” (Rolls-Royce sculpture) and „Where Fake was Born (the New Venus of Willendorf)”, created with Kamila Tuszyńska.
After this sculpture we created its smaller version – „3.0 Summer”, and that scaled down sculpture had premiere at Salons d’art contemporain art3f in Cannes, France, in 2018.
The concept of Web 3.0 implies the collection, matching and data sharing in the form structured depending on the context.
Toys are a metaphor of patterns and behavioral models collected in childhood, which properly processed, constitute an adult identity. The heart muscle, made of these toys, constantly pumps the patterns, and then spreads through the aorta throughout the body.
Chrom is not only an allegory of the emotional coldness, but above all appears as a substance constituting instinctive everyday behaviors that are often beyond the perception of the individual.
The traditional relation between the individual – technology is deconstructed: it is not the individual who controls the technology, but the technology controls the individual. These unconscious patterns generate chrome, which affects a perception of reality. Thus, the loop is closed, because if the consciousness is infected with technology, it is difficult to abstract it and give self-analysis.
3.0 is as well organic as technological hybrid – it depends on the individual if (s)he become aware of the existence of the product of patterns from childhood, and, therefore, the individual determine the degree of technology interference in the body.
